My Redemption

Drowning in the sable night
Lost my last hope on my plight
Nothing has remained
The darkest shade beyond a veil
The greatest glory all gone pale
Nothing is left
Of me

Light my eyes, my darkened face
Light my paths, my darkened ways
Lead me through this night
Guide me in this fight
To my redemption

Night in me has claimed its reign
All my struggles've been in vain
Nothing has endured
Fame and honour've long gone by
Friends have said their last good-bye
No one who stands
With me

Light my eyes, my darkened face

Savely to the light
To my redemption

I've faded to a shade of grey
A lone soul that's been led astray
Nothing has remained
But this one place deep in my heart
That all these hells won't tear apart
Nothing is left
Of me
